PPC Account Assistant
Note: This is an ongoing live link. We will add your details to our talent pool, and reach out if we have a project matching your skillset 👍
Pacing Agency is a London-based marketing team that helps businesses grow. We’re a small, hands-on team. We cut straight to the good stuff, using data and experience to get results.
We are looking for a freelance PPC Account Assistant to support the ongoing management of our paid advertising accounts. Strategy and direction will be set by our core team; your role is to provide the consistent oversight and technical review needed to ensure our accounts stay healthy and high-performing.
We’re looking for someone who shares our results-driven mindset and has a sharp eye for detail.
This is a 4-hour weekly commitment (roughly 2 days per month) focused on technical oversight and flagging issues within our framework on a flexible schedule, with no requirement for client communication or high-level strategy.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Weekly Account Oversight: Performing a regular review of all PPC accounts every week to ensure everything is running smoothly.
- Issue Detection: Identifying and flagging "red flag" issues such as tracking breaks, ad disapprovals, budget anomalies, sudden performance drops, or compliance risks.
- Data-Driven Recommendations: Recommending tactical changes based on what the data is telling you—including bid/budget adjustments, adding negative keywords, suggesting ad copy tests, or flagging structural improvements.
- Concise Reporting: Documenting your findings in a clear, weekly summary or checklist so the strategy team can act on and prioritise your recommendations immediately.
Must-Haves
- PPC Experience: A solid understanding of Google Ads (and/or other paid platforms) and how to navigate the interfaces to find performance data.
- Detail-Oriented: You notice the small things, like a tracking pixel firing incorrectly or a budget pacing too fast, before they become big problems.
- Analytical Mindset: You don't just see numbers; you understand what they mean for account health and can suggest the "next step."
- Clear Communication: You can summarise complex data into short, actionable bullet points for the team.
- Reliability: You are proactive and take pride in ensuring no account "goes dark" or underperforms without being noticed.
